The Account Updater page provides insights into Account Updater activity and performance. You can track billable responses to payment updates along with the revenue and fees associated with each update.
The following sections describe the features of the Account Updater page. To access this page, select Value Added Services then Account Updater under Admin in the left navigation panel.
Overview
The Overview tab provides data related to billable responses from card networks. The top of this tab displays an overview of key metrics:
Billable responses: The number and percentage of billable responses compared to the total number of updates that were sent during a specific time period
Net revenue: The net revenue and gross revenue generated from the billable responses
Total fees: The total cost of the billable responses, along with the average cost for each response
Configure Overview Data
You can use the fields displayed at the top of the Overview tab to filter the data displayed on this tab:
Time period: Select a time period to display data for billable responses that occurred during the specified period. Last 30 days is selected by default.
Platform: Select a version of Account Updater to display data for billable responses using that version. Base Version is selected by default.
View the Distribution of Billable Responses
To view a breakdown of the number of responses displayed in the Billable responses tile, scroll to the following sections on the Overview tab:
Payment methods responses: View a breakdown of billable responses by card brand.
Responses by category: View a breakdown of billable responses by response category. To view the number and percentage of responses for a specific card brand, hover over the bar corresponding to that card brand.
Reports
The Reports tab helps you monitor the revenue and billing associated with Account Updater activity. This tab displays a revenue report with the following details:
Date: The date of the billing event for a payment update
Merchant: The name of the merchant that’s billed for the update
Fee Name: The name of the fee that’s applied to the merchant
Billing type: The billing structure that’s configured for the merchant
Net Revenue: The amount that you earned from the merchant or are charged by Worldpay for Platforms for the update
For more information about a billing event, select that row to display details such as the payment update status, the response message from the card brand, and the associated cost.
Configure the Revenue Report
You can use the following fields to filter the data displayed in the Account Updater revenue report:
Month: Select a month to display data for billing events that occurred only during that month. This month is selected by default.
Billing type: Select Regular or Statement to display data associated with that billing type only.
Revenue type: Select Partner to Payrix to display only data associated with revenue that Worldpay for Platforms earns from what they charge you. Select Partner to Merchant to display only data associated with revenue that you’re earning from the merchant.
Platform: Select a version of Account Updater to display data for updates using that version. Base Version is selected by default.
Search merchants: Enter a merchant name or ID to display data associated with that merchant only. The search box is case sensitive.
Download the Revenue Report
Click Export in the upper-right corner of the Reports tab to download the revenue report as a CSV file.
