# Release Notes: May 22, 2025

## Portal (Version 24.88.0)

The following sections summarize the Payrix Pro portal changes in this release. For more information, see the [Portal Guide](/v1/docs/portal-guides).

### Improvements

- Optimized the report generation process for the Disbursement Summary Report by removing the manual selection between **Quick Report** and **Up-to-Date Data** options. This improvement provides enhanced report generation performance and a better user experience.
- Updated the **Partner Configuration** parameter of the Add Merchant Signup Form page to display a warning if the API Key provided does not have access to create Merchants or Users.
- Updated the **Custom Fields** section for entity profiles to prevent orphaned parameters. Editing this section now displays failure errors, as necessary.
- Replaced the **Show More Results** button on the Merchant Profile **Documents**tab with a standard pagination option. This improvement enhances document access by clearly displaying the actual number of records.
- General enhancements for improved Referrer Dashboard performance.

### Resolved Issues

- Issue resolved where searching by customer Token hash or ID, or using transaction filter queries, caused Referrer Dashboard timeouts, affecting loading times.
- Issue resolved where Quebec was incorrectly listed as a province option for Canadian merchants, leading to compliance issues.

## API (Version 24.8.0)

To view release notes for the Payrix Pro API, access the [Worldpay Developer Hub for Payrix Pro](https://docs.worldpay.com/apis/payrix/dev-int-guide/welcome/release-notes).

### New Features

- Convenience and service fees can now be applied through PayFields and Apple Pay integrations using a public API key or transaction session key.
- Convenience fees are now individually mapped to settlement files for merchants to report and reconcile these fees.
- The Vantiv platform now returns Visa authorization decline response codes: *Transaction not supported by issuer*(**565**), and *Blocked by cardholder/contact cardholder* (**566**). This update ensures compliance with updated card brand requirements.
- **Embedded Finance for Merchant Working Capital** can now automatically enroll merchants using /orgFlows.
- **Embedded Finance for Merchant Working Capital** now sends web or email alerts and **Business Event Notifications** (**BENs**) for loan offer updates. These include creation and offer details, approval results, and expiration information.

### Improvements

- Enhanced transaction import handling for /txns requests by making the forTxn parameter optional for sale, refund, and reverse transactions.
- Updated /orgFlows requests for improved risk visibility. These requests now contain an inactive parameter to disable Group Work Flows instead of deleting them.
- Improved the Account Updater service token update performance to reduce token update times.
- Enhanced /omniTokens DELETE requests to allow users to flag specific Omnitokens as *deleted* without removing or disabling them from the Worldpay service. This improvement enables a more flexible customer and merchant experience.

### Resolved Issues

- Issue resolved where refund transactions would unexpectedly fail, returning a **Message Format Error** response due to mismatched entry type mapping.
- Issue resolved where reverse (void) transactions with a total of 0 would be declined, returning a **Message Format Error** response due to mismatched entry type mapping.
- Issue resolved where imported transactions would decline because fee values were mismatched from the mapping of the platform server’s fee field.
- Issue resolved where Apple Pay transactions charging cardholder fees would fail due to fee mapping issues.
- Issue resolved where imported transactions created from inactive tokens were blocked, ensuring all relevant transactions are processed correctly.
- Issue resolved where **Address Verification Service** (**AVS**) data was registering properly, causing increased interchange costs for merchants.
- Issue resolved where inactive, but not deleted, VCore boarding credentials caused failures in merchant onboarding.
- Issue resolved where /omniTokens endpoint DELETE requests returned errors when the tokens are disabled on the Worldpay service.
- Issue resolved where /holds requests failed to create applicable reserveEntries releases for previously held funds.
- Issue resolved where generating an **Account Updater Report** would result in frequent timeouts. This fix improves performance, enhances reliability, and adds more filters to request reports for merchants and Partners.
