# Sandbox Utilization Guidelines

When using the Payrix Pro Sandbox environment for testing, keep in mind the following limitations:

- No more than 10 concurrent threads. This also applies to Production processing.
- Data retention limited to a maximum of 240 days.
- Daily limit of 1000 new transactions.
- Daily limit of 100 new merchants created.

> If you need to exceed these limitations, speak with your Partner Experience Manager and Implementation Manager. They’ll help you schedule a date and time so that your activity won’t impact other users or cause an alert in our system.

> **Do not**use the Sandbox environment for performance testing without prior Worldpay for Platforms approval as it is a shared environment.
