Prerequisites
Notes
A fully boarded Payrix Pro account to perform any of the actions described in the use case guides
The legal authority within your organization to initiate the transfer
The entity levels for each of your existing tokens (user or merchant)
An encrypted Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) server to facilitate token file transfers by you or your existing processor
Important notes
Important!
Token migration requires coordination with the existing processor and Payrix Pro operational teams. This process cannot be performed independently.
Tips
Tip
You will be notified when the migration is complete. At that time, you can request GET /tokens for the existing processor tokens to determine the new equivalent Payrix Pro Token IDs.
Tip
Request a copy of Payrix Pro’s most current Attestation of Compliance (AOC) and Report on Compliance (ROC) from your Partner Experience Manager before beginning the process to streamline the process of legal verification from your existing processor.

Map the Token Data
After your tokens have been successfully submitted from your existing processor to Payrix Pro, Payrix Pro will migrate and map each token to a new Payrix Pro Token ID and Customer ID with associated customer information and related custom field data.
Link Tokens to their Associated Merchants
Review your newly exported tokens, assigning them to their respective Merchants with the following information:
Merchant Name: The name of the Merchant who created and uses the token.
Merchant ID: The Payrix Pro Merchant ID for the associated Merchant.
User Login ID: The Payrix Pro User ID that determines whether the account is a Partner or Merchant.
Import Level: Whether the custom field data is mapped to the Merchant account or a Merchant user.
Original Processor: The existing processor’s name and information.
File: The existing Token file, attached or linked from an SFTP server.
Submit an Implementation Services ticket for Token Transfer Request migrate the newly exported tokens, assigning them to their respective Merchants' collected information above.
Example migration request email message
