How to Use Payments Options in the Portal

How To - This guide will show step-by-step instructions for Merchants to submit a payment directly on their dashboard menu in the Portal. Quick Charge and Expanded Payment Fields

Merchants can submit a payment directly on their dashboard menu in the Portal using Quick Charge or by selecting Create Payment for the expanded payment fields.

How to Use Quick Charge

  1. From the landing page of the Portal Dashboard, a Merchant will see the Quick Charge window.

  2. Enter in the Amount, Transaction Type, and Payment Method as required, then click Process Payment.

    1. A Merchant may also enter Address, City, State, Country, Zip, Email, and Phone Number to the Customer Details section to meet additional Risk and AVS requirements.

  3. After clicking Process Payment, a popup will appear in the middle of the screen. Enter in the required Card Number, Expiration, CVV, and Cardholder Name information.

  4. Click the PAY button to process the payment.

Warning: Excluding certain additional information may result in a transaction hold or an issuer decline depending on your portfolio’s AVS and Risk settings.


How to Use Expanded Payment Fields

  1. From the landing page of the Portal Dashboard, click on Create Payments (located under the Payments tab).

  2. Enter in the Amount, Transaction Type, and Payment Method as required, then click Process Payment.

    1. Merchants can select any of their customer's saved payment methods (token) from the dropdown menu or enter new payment information or enter a new payment method.


  3. After clicking Process Payment, a popup will appear in the middle of the screen. Enter in the required Card Number, Expiration, CVV, and Cardholder Name information if creating a new payment method.

    1. A Merchant can click the Customer Details arrow to expand the payment fields to input the additional cardholder data: to meet various Risk and AVS requirements.

Warning: Excluding certain additional information may result in a transaction hold or an issuer decline depending on your portfolio’s AVS and Risk settings.

Transaction Types Available in the Portal:

  • Sale - a credit or debit card transaction

  • Authorization Only - this transaction type is used by merchants to authorize their client’s payment card without Capturing the transaction

  • eCheck Sale - an ACH payment
