Integrate triPOS

Prev Next

To use one of the card-present triPOS integration options, contact your Partner Success Manager (PSM) to express your interest in the integration and to schedule a Scope of Work (SOW) meeting in the form of a kickoff call with the Payrix Pro Solutioning team.

Note

The triPOS integration process does not use the Payrix Pro platform implementations process, which focuses on boarding new partners to the payment acceptance platform as a whole. Instead, your triPOS integration must be certified with the triPOS Developer Integrations team. Both of these Worldpay teams work in tandem to ensure that you’ll receive comprehensive support.

The following sections outline the triPOS integration process.

Create and Sign an SOW

During the SOW meeting, the Solutioning team outlines your specific use cases and needs in an SOW document to determine which of the integration options best suit your business model.

After the meeting concludes, the SOW document is finalized. This document requires the business owner’s signature, and your PSM must send it to the triPOS Developer Integrations (tDI) team for the next steps.

After the SOW is signed, the PSM creates a new project for your proposed integration for assignment in the tDI queue.

Note

Due to high demand for this integration, the tDI team will assign a tDI Analyst as soon as possible in the order the project was requested. As a result, your project might not be immediately assigned to a tDI Analyst upon submission.

When a tDI Analyst is assigned, they will schedule a kickoff meeting with you to review the scope of your integration and discuss the certification testing process.

Procure Devices

triPOS supports a range of payment terminals, which vary by integration type: triPOS Direct, triPOS Cloud, and triPOS Mobile. After initiating your SOW and deciding on the supported payment terminals to use, you can procure the payment terminals:

  • US-based partners must order terminals directly through an approved key injection facility (KIF). You can acquire a single certified device for testing at no cost. All other devices must be procured solo.

  • Canadian-based partners must order terminals directly through Worldpay. See Canada Payment Processing Standards and Requirements for more details about payment requirements in Canada.

Compatible Devices

For a complete list of compatible terminals for each triPOS integration type, refer to the triPOS device matrix in the triPOS documentation. This matrix summarizes the supported features and specifications for each device.

We provide limited support for certain legacy devices already implemented in existing partner solutions. If you are an existing partner and need assistance with legacy devices, contact your Partner Experience Manager (PXM) or submit a Partner Services request.

Approved Key Injection Facilities

US-based partners can order triPOS-compatible terminals through the following KIFs:

Complete Certification

From here, the tDI team will work with you to support your integration, provide test scenarios, and review your new setup to confirm everything is operating as expected to successfully test and launch the integration. See Configure and Test triPOS Integrations for information about testing your integration.

When this phase concludes, the tDI Analyst provides you a Certification Letter documenting the certified solution. This certification designates that the integration is ready for the production environment.
