Safer Payments

Prev Next

The Safer Payments page displays a list of merchants under your account that are signed up for Safer Payments, and allows you to control Safer Payment access for individual merchants. Safer Payments is a service that validates a vendor account as compliant with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS). Compliance with PCI DSS helps safeguard customers' sensitive data by minimizing data breaches or other security threats.

To access the Safer Payments page, select Value Added Services then Safer Payments under Admin in the left navigation panel.

Safer Payments Features

The Safer Payments page contains a table with Safer Payments enablement information for your merchants. The following information is available in the table:

  • Merchant Name: The name of the merchant.

  • Enabled: Whether Safer Payments is enabled for the merchant: Yes or No.

  • Enablement Date: If Safer Payments is enabled for the merchant, the date that Safer Payments was enabled.

Safer Payments Actions

The Safer Payments table supports sorting by enablement status, changing the enablement status of a merchant, and searching for a specific merchant.

View merchants with a specific enablement status by choosing one of the three buttons at the top left in the table: All, Enabled, or Disabled. The table will repopulate to show only merchants of the category selected.

To change the enablement status of a merchant, locate the merchant in the table and click Enable or Disable on the right side of the table row.

To search for a specific merchant, enter the merchant name in the search bar in the upper-right corner of the page. The table refreshes with only merchants that match the search term.
