The Terminal page contains information about a specific terminal associated with a merchant’s payment processing system. You can edit details about the terminal and view a list of recent transactions associated with the terminal on this page.
Navigate to the Terminal page by following the steps below:
Step 2: Click on a specific merchant in the merchants table to open the Merchant Profile page.
Step 3: Scroll down to the Terminals tab in the Merchant Account Overview section of the Merchant Profile page.
Step 4: Click on the specific terminal located in the Terminals table to open the Terminal page.
The Terminal Details section contains editable information related to a specific merchant terminal, including the following information:
Terminal Details Field Name
The Payrix-generated ID for the terminal.
The date that the terminal was added to Payrix.
The Payrix-generated ID for the merchant associated with the terminal.
The name of the merchant associated with the terminal.
The type of terminal. Choose from the following: Authorize.net , PAX Terminals, DEJAVOO, NMI, Cybersource, Core 610, Verifone, UIC, Var - Freedom Pay, or Datacap E-Pay REPRO.
The status of the terminal. Choose Active or Inactive.
Indicates whether the terminal is set to auto-batch close. When Auto-Close is selected, the batch close is automatically engaged at a preset time each day. Choose from the following: Host, Terminal, or None.
The name of the terminal as designated by the merchant or referrer.
The type of environment assigned to the terminal. Choose from the following: Retail, Retail with tips, Restaurant, Lodging, Bar, Cash Advance, Mail/Telephone Order, Pay at the pump, Service Rest, E-commerce, Direct Marketing, Fine Dining, Gift Card Only
The street address of the physical location of the terminal.
The suite number or other information associated with the street address for the physical location of the terminal.
The city associated with the terminal location mailing address.
The state associated with the terminal location mailing address.
The zip code associated with the terminal location mailing address.
The country associated with the terminal location mailing address.
A description of the terminal as designated by the merchant or referrer.
The serial number assigned to the terminal.
Indicates whether the terminal is cloud enabled. Choose Yes or No.
Terminal Details Actions
To edit Terminal Details information, follow the steps below:
Step 1: Click the PENCIL icon at the top right hand corner of the Terminal Details section.
Step 2: Edit the information in the form.
Step 3: Save the edited information by clicking the CHECK MARK at the top right hand corner of the page, or cancel and revert to the previous information by clicking the X.
The Terminal Transactions section contains a table of recent transactions associated with the specific terminal. The table includes the following information in the default settings:
Terminal Transactions Table Column Name
The dollar amount of the transaction.
The status of the transaction: Approved, Pending, or Failed.
The name on the credit card associated with the transaction.
Indicates whether the payment was submitted via Swipe, Chip Insert, Tapped (for Chip Contactless Entry), Manual Entry, or by using Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Samsung Pay.
The date that the transaction was processed.
Click on the grey triangle in any row to view additional details for a specific transaction, or click on the grey triangle in the table header to view additional details for all transactions.
Terminal Transactions Table Actions
The Terminal Transactions page supports the following actions:
View additional details about a terminal transaction by clicking on any row in the Terminal Transactions table.
Access additional details about a specific terminal transaction by clicking any information in the table row to open the Terminal Transactions page for that merchant transaction.

You can customize your view using the options found at the top of the table. View the Table Search and Sort Instructions for instructions on customizing, sorting, or searching tables.
