The Dashboard is the landing page for the Merchant Portal. It is organized into high-level account smart tiles that provide users with an overview of their account and options to perform basic actions.

To access the dashboard, click Dashboard in the left navigation panel.

Quick Charge Panel

The Quick Charge panel is a convenient way to charge a customer and save their information for future transactions. The panel is located in the top left corner of the page.

To create a new charge using the Quick Charge panel:

  1. Enter the charge amount and customer information into the open fields in the panel.

  2. Click the Charge Type dropdown menu in the lower-left corner of the panel and select Sale, Authorization Only, or eCheck Sale.

  3. Click the Payment Method dropdown menu in the lower right corner of the panel and select a saved payment or click CREATE NEW PAYMENT METHOD to add a new credit card.

  4. (Optional): To save the customer information for future transactions, click the SAVE CUSTOMER INFO checkbox in the lower left corner of the panel. The customer information will appear in the table on your Customers page.

  5. Click the PROCESS PAYMENT button to process the charge.

Today’s Sales Panel

The Today’s Sales panel contains a graph showing information about any sales that you made today. The Today’s Sales panel is located to the right of the Quick Charge panel on the Dashboard page.

Account Balance

Your account balance is shown at the top right corner of the Dashboard. To access more information about your account balance, click BALANCE DETAILS to open the Balance Details.

Customer Transactions Graph

The Customer Transactions graph displays customizable information about recent transactions associated with your account. The Customer Transactions graph is located below the Quick Charge panel on the Dashboard page. You can use this graph to visualize sales, refunds, and other categories of transactions. For the selected category, the graph will display both the dollar amount and the count of transactions.

To customize the graph information:

  1. Click the Transaction Type dropdown menu and select Sales, Refunds, Declines, Rejects, or Disputes.

  2. Choose the date range that will be displayed on the graph. Select a custom date range by clicking the CALENDAR icon or click the Date Range dropdown menu to choose a preset date range.

  3. The graph will automatically refresh to display the currently selected transaction type and date range.

  4. The graph will display both the dollar amount and the count of transactions as separate lines. The graph legend, shown below the graph, indicates which line color corresponds with each of the data types.

Note

To view the time that a single transaction occurred, set the custom date range to the single date that the transaction occurred.

Funds Snapshot Panel

The Funds Snapshot panel displays a summary of all transactions with a customizable starting date.

To use the Funds Snapshot panel, select the Daily Sales date by clicking the CALENDAR in the upper right corner of the panel and choosing a date. Note that the default date is the current date. Select Calendar or Rolling from the toggle switch to the right of the calendar. The Funds Snapshot display will automatically repopulate to display the date that you selected. The total dollar amount and total counts are displayed in each section for Sales, Refunds, Declines, Rejects, and Disputes.

The Funds Snapshot includes the following information:

  • YTD Details: The Year To Date (YTD) transactions.

  • MTD Details: The Month To Date (MTD) transactions.

  • Selected Date Details: Transactions that occurred on the date selected in the panel calendar.

Funds Snapshot Rejects Lightbox

In each of the Funds Snapshot sections, the Rejects information area allows you to view rejected transactions by their return codes. Click the DOUBLE ARROW icons in each section to open the Rejected Transactions Information lightbox. Click the tabs at the top to choose the date range for rejected transactions displayed in the light box, then scroll down in the lightbox to view the rejected transactions table.

  • Return Code: The return code category that was indicated as the reason that the transaction was rejected.

  • Count: The number of rejected transactions for a specific Return Code category that occurred in the specified date range.

  • Amount: The total dollar amount of the rejected transactions for a specific Return Code category in the specified date range.

Flagged Transactions Panel

The Flagged Transactions panel, located in the lower-left corner of the page, displays a list of any transactions that the portal has flagged as a risk. To view more information about a specific flagged transaction, click any information for the transaction to open the Transaction Risk Management page.

New Customers Panel

The New Customers panel is located in the lower right corner of the page and displays a list of recently added customers. To view more information about a specific customer, click any information for that customer to open the Customer Profile page.
