PayFrame Configurations

The PayFrame Configurations page displays a table of PayFrame configurations that have been saved for use by you or your boarded merchants. On this page, you can access PayFrame Configuration Details or add a new PayFrame configuration. PayFrame embeds a Payrix Pro platform-hosted payment form on a merchant’s checkout page with basic customizations and minimal development effort.

To access the PayFrame Configurations page, select PayFrame Configurations under Forms in the left navigation panel.

PayFrame Configurations Table

The PayFrame Configurations table displays a list of all PayFrame Configurations associated with your account, including the following information:

  • ID: The Payrix Pro-generated ID number for the saved PayFrame configuration.

  • Created: The date and time that the PayFrame configuration was created.

  • Title: The name of the PayFrame configuration.

PayFrame Configurations Table Actions

The PayFrame Configurations table supports adding a new PayFrame configuration, removing a configuration, and accessing more configuration details.

To add a new PayFrame configuration:

  1. Select ADD PAYFRAME to open the PayFrame Configuration Details page.

  2. Enter the required information.

  3. Select Save to add the new configuration, or select Cancel to return to the PayFrame Configurations page.

To remove a PayFrame configuration:

  1. Select the X icon in the table row to open the Delete Configuration dialog.

  2. Confirm to remove the configuration from your account by selecting Yes.

To access the PayFrame Configuration Details page, select any information in the configuration table row.

PayFrame Configuration Details

The PayFrame Configuration Details page contains details about a specific PayFrame configuration saved in your PayFrame Configurations table. You can edit configuration details or copy a code snippet to embed the PayFrame into your payment page or website.

To access the PayFrame Configurations Details page:

  1. Select PayFrame Configurations under Forms in the left navigation panel.

  2. Locate the specific PayFrame Configuration in the table, and click on any information in the table row to open the PayFrame Configuration Details page.

Payment Button

The Payment Button section includes information on the size in pixels, color, and text that is displayed on the payment button embedded with your PayFrame form.

PayFrame Settings

The PayFrame Settings section contains more details about the PayFrame payment form and how it will be displayed on your payment website, including the following information:

  • Image URL: The web address for an image displayed in the PayFrame.

  • Title: The name of the PayFrame.

  • Description: The description displayed below the title of the PayFrame.

  • Redirect: Whether the PayFrame redirects the customer to a new page during the payment process: Yes or No.

  • Skip Address: Whether customers are allowed to skip entering their billing address during the payment process: Yes or No.

  • Amount Type: Whether the payment is a preset amount or is added by the customer: Preset or Input.

  • Color: The color of the PayFrame. You can change the color while editing the page by selecting a color from the palette or entering a Color Hex code into the field.

  • Mode: The mode of payment. Choose from the following: Transaction, Token, or Transaction Token.

  • Transaction Type: The type of transaction that occurs when the customer uses the PayFrame. Choose from Sale or Authorization.

  • API Key: Any API keys that are associated with the PayFrame.

  • Merchant: The Payrix Pro-generated ID of the merchant that uses the PayFrame in their payment website. Change the merchant while editing the page by selecting a new merchant from the dropdown menu.

Payment Button and PayFrame Settings Actions

To edit information in both the PayFrame Button and Settings sections:

  1. Select the Pencil icon in the top right corner of the page.

  2. Edit information in either or both sections.

  3. Select the Checkmark icon to save your changes, or select the X icon to discard your changes.

PayFrame Customer View

The PayFrame Customer View is located on the right side of the page and displays what customers will see when they view the PayFrame configuration embedded in a payment page. Modifying the PayFrame Configuration details will update the display to reflect the changes.

Copy Code Snippet

The Copy Code Snippet section contains the code that embeds the PayFrame configuration into a website. To copy the code, select Copy Code Snippet to copy the code to your clipboard.
