Profit Shares (F)

The Profit Shares page displays a table of profit shares associated with your merchants and other users, and allows you to add new profit shares to your account. Profit shares allow for any income or expense to be split between entities. If a transaction is associated with a profit share, a new entry is created that splits the amount based off of the profit share parameters.

Navigate to the Profit Shares page by clicking Settings in the left hand navigation panel, and then clicking Profit Shares in the Payment Settings section.

Profit Shares Table

The Profit Shares table displays a list of profit shares associated with your account, including the following information:

Profit Shares Table Column Name

Description

ID

The Payrix-generated ID for the profit share.

Created

The date that the profit share was created.

Name

The name of the profit share, generated by the referrer.

Type

The type of profit share: Income, Expense, or Both.

Amount

The amount of the profit share, displayed as a percentage.

Profit Shares Table Actions

The Profit Shares table supports the following actions: access more information, add a profit share.

To access more information about a specific profit share, click any information in the table row to open the Profit Share page.

To add a new profit share, click the ADD PROFIT SHARE button in the top right hand corner of the page to open the Add Profit Share lightbox. Enter the required information in the lightbox and click ADD PROFIT SHARE to save the new profit share, or discard your changes and return to the previous screen by clicking CANCEL.

Profit Share (F)

The Profit Share page contains editable information about a specific profit share associated with a merchant or other user. Profit shares allow for any income or expense to be split between entities. If a transaction is associated with a profit share, a new entry is created that splits the amount based off of the profit share parameters.

Navigate to the Profit Share page by following the steps below:

  • Step 1: Click on Settings in the left hand navigation panel.

  • Step 2: Click on Profit Shares in the Payment Settings section of the Settings page.

  • Step 3: Click on a profit share in the table to open the Profit Share page.

Profit Share Details

The Profit Share Details section includes the following editable fields:

Profit Share Details Field Name

Description

ID

The Payrix-generated ID of the profit share.

Created

The date and time that the profit share was created.

Entity ID

The Payrix-generated ID of the entity that oversees the profit share.

Entity Name

The name of the entity that oversees the profit share.

For Entity ID

The Payrix-generated ID associated with the entity that is the recipient of the income or expense profit share.

For Entity Name

The name of the entity that the profit share is shared with.

Login ID

The Payrix-generated ID used by the profit sharing entity to log in to the portal.

Amount

The amount of the profit share, displayed as a percentage.

Type

The type of profit share: Income, Expense, or Both.

Name

The name of the profit share, generated by the referrer.

Description

A description of the profit share.

Status

The status of the profit share: Active or Inactive.

Profit Share Details Action

To edit information, follow the steps below:

  • Step 1: Click the EDIT icon at the top right hand corner of Profit Share Details section to open a lightbox in the page.

  • Step 2: Edit the information in the lightbox.

  • Step 3: Save the edited information by clicking the CHECK MARK at the top right hand corner of the page, or cancel and revert to the previous information by clicking the X.
