March 2023 Release Notes

Portal

New Features

  • Toggle (checkbox) added to Merchant-level Quick Charge to Customer save payment information for future transactions in in the Portal.

  • New Create Form option for document uploads are now available with Request More Info form in the Risk Boarding process.

  • The Risk Boarding process now saves information about the user submitting documents to make contact with prospective customers faster if more info about the submitted document is required/requested.

  • The Risk Boarding process now populates a Referrer’s name automatically in a field when their email address is typed in.

  • Mastercard Location Fees can now be applied to merchants and its details reflected in Merchant and Referrer Balance Details reports.

  • Visa Fixed Acquirer Network Fees (FANFs) can now be applied to merchants and its details reflected in Merchant and Referrer Balance Details reports.

  • Visa Integrity Fees can now be applied to merchants and its details reflected in Merchant and Referrer Balance Details reports.

  • The Disbursement Details page now details and lists each deposit amount by its specific processing platform (by platformId) to create more visibility into withdrawal information.

  • Merchant Reserves page now contains new “Transactions in Risk Queue” segment to detail specific fields for transactions that need to be reviewed via risk policy.

  • New document upload form has been added to the Documents of the Transaction Risk Page to allow customers to upload their own documents for faster risk analysis and for Payrix Risk Analysis to use a ‘Request Documents’ button directly in-Portal to request more documentation.

  • New Referrer Portal Guides are available for 'Management' section of the Portal.

  • Statement Details Report is now available in the Portal for Partners using Statement Billing. (Available in Beta).

  • Balance Details, Disbursement Summary, and Transaction Details reports now load using the ‘Quick Reports’ option for faster load times.

Improvements

  • Business Owner bank account information fields now reflect whether the account type is Debit or Credit.

  • Overall Portal navigation load time has been drastically improved by using a new cache and state management system to make page redirection seamless for Referrers.

  • The following pages (and their associated sub-menus) navigation load times have been dramatically improved by using a new cache and state management system to make loading seamless for Merchants and Referrers:

  • Referrer Dashboard Gross Sales chart now reflects all sales instead of toggling between card present and card not present.

  • The Customers page app bundle build size has been streamlined to minimize load times.

  • Chargebacks utilizing the VCORE processing platform has been updated to reflect each card brand’s document upload size limit.

  • Portal pages index within search engines to minimize risk potential for bad actors.

  • The Total column of the Balance Details Report now display up to 5 decimal places to account for fractional percentages and other currency splits beyond standard 2 decimal spaces.

  • The Smart Card for Risk “Flags” has been improved to more frequently update with current information as it passed through our automated risk policy.

  • Signup Forms established field has been updated to reflect a YYYYMMDD format for faster processing times.

  • Risk boarding has been improved with pre-populated field info for customers to have quick and consistent visibility into our Risk team’s communications.

  • API Documentation now loads 80% faster.

  • Risk boarding has been improved with additional information to quickly identify merchant notes left with Request More Info forms, making risk review dramatically faster.

  • Canadian Merchant signup forms and EFT routing input fields have been updated with an example of Canadian routing number format in an image to help merchants and partners better understand the unique EFT format and reduce the number of bank account info submission errors.

  • Guidestar Smart Card (available on an Entity’s Risk Profile) has been updated to a smaller size and to display a date and time in a similar format to the other risk cards for easier visibility into up-to-date risk assessments.

  • To better protect GIACT information for audit and certification purposes, the ‘Underwriting’ button has been removed for non-essential users of entities and sub-entities.

  • Hover descriptions have been added to all Underwriting page buttons to display a short description for better understanding of each field/button.

  • State, Zip and Business Phone fields for Principal owners and Merchants have been added to help offer more information directly to the underwriter.

  • Canadian signup forms have been updated to include a dropdown for business titles.

Resolved Issues

  • Issue resolved where Disputes processed using the VCORE platform would erroneously offer an option to accept partial liability.

API

Improvements

  • Withdrawals endpoints now offer a minimum optional field option for actual amount type is selected to set a minimum amount required for a user to process a new withdrawal.

  • New optional field EVENT_MODEL added to Fees model to schedule Visa FANF fees for transactions via externally calculated

Resolved issues

  • Issue resolved where some customers weren’t able to process Debit transaction refunds without email verification.

Payrix Mobile SDKs

Android

  • Version 3.0.15 (EMV Certified)

    • Resolved the issue for ReverseAuth occurring when Payrix API does not handle Tag 8A length correctly.

    • Add OTA update steps on README file

    • Bullet proof PayrixSDK code from crashing and also added some data validation.

iOS

  • Version 3.0.15 (EMV Certified)

    • Resolved the issue for ReverseAuth occurring when Payrix API does not handle Tag 8A length correctly.

    • Resolved decoding when a field can be presented as both Integer or String.

Terminals

Verifone - Version 1.0.7

  • Revision to fix defect of crashing on amounts greater than $1,000.

  • Added Enhanced Logging for problem determination.

  • Employed new internal 4 node version numbering required by Verifone.

PAX - Version 2.1.6

  • Enhanced Logging to locate any complex issues or incomplete transactions. The logs (Type: LogCat) can be pulled using the PAX estate manager.

triPOS - Version 6.1.0

  • Moby 5500 support has been added for triPOS integrations.
