Use Case: Assign a Group using the Merchant Signup Form

The Signup Forms page allows you to view and create whitelabeled signup forms for Merchants to begin boarding themselves to your platform. Use the Merchant’s Group feature to automate the setup of Fees, Billing Schedules, and Withdrawal flows for each individual Merchant. This tutorial will walk you through the steps of assigning new Merchants a Group using the Signup Form.

Objective

Assign an existing Group to your Merchant Signup Form, automatically adding newly-boarded Merchants to your preferred Group.

Prerequisites

Prerequisites:

• You must have a fully boarded account to perform any of the actions described in this use case guide.

• You must have an existing Group setup, see steps in the Set Up a Group use case tutorial.

• You must have Admin User Access to create new Signup Forms, see steps in the Set Up Your First Admin User Account use case tutorial.

Assign a Group to your Signup Form

1. Access the Signup Forms Page

Click Signup Forms under the Forms category in the left-hand navigation panel to open the Groups page.

2. Assign the Group to the Signup Form

• Step 1: Select your Signup Form from the table, and click on any information in the table row to open the Signup Form Settings page.

• Step 2: Click the EDIT icon in the upper right corner of the Signup Form Profile to edit the configuration.

• Step 2: Scroll to the bottom of the page to the Partner Configuration section and locate the Merchant’s Group drop-down within.

• Step 4: In the Merchant’s Group drop-down, search for your desired Group by name by typing the Group’s name, or select their name by scrolling through the list of displayed Groups.

• Step 5: Click the SAVE icon in the upper right corner when you have finished selecting your group.

Result: The Signup Form now has your desired Merchant Group set to automatically assign all new Merchants boarded using this Signup Form to the Group of your choice.

Conclusion

After completing the steps in this use case, you will have assigned your preferred Group to your whitelabeled Merchant Signup Form for the automatic assignment of new Merchants.
